Hello! My temporary name is QHB1, but if you decide to adopt me, you can give me a brand new name to start my new life with you. My story begins a bit sadly; I was abandoned along with my four siblings, mom, and dad when our previous owners moved away and left us behind with nothing. Thankfully, the kind folks at Barking Mad Animal Rescue came to our rescue, and now we're all looking for loving homes.
About Me
Age: 8 months old
Size: Medium
Health: I've received all my vaccines, have been microchipped, and neutered. I'm also heartworm negative.
Personality: I'm a really good boy! I love playing with all kinds of people and lots of other dogs. My favorite games are tag and receiving treats.
Breed Heritage: My mom is a purebred Queensland Heeler, which means I'm very smart and easy to train.

Applications must be approved prior to meet and greets for fostered dogs.

Approve Application
A processor will call you, check your references. Please make sure your vet has permission to speak to the processor.

Pay Fee
Once approved and your pet selected, payment instructions will be provided.

Fees vary by pet, but all animals will be totally vetted and up to date. We do require an adoption contract. Home visits may be required. Fenced yards unless prior approval is mandatory. References required. Volunteer run rescue that is the only rescue in 3 counties that do not have animal control of any kind...your calls will be answered but due to rural area may not always receive signal. Best contact is by text or email.
Payment plans available upon request.
Transportation provided to the Maritimes every 6 weeks.

BMAR is a No-Kill facility: a place of safety for healthy adoptable animals, a home for the homeless, a haven for the mistreated, neglected, or abused animals of Sabine & surrounding counties. BMAR also runs a sanctuary for those deemed unadoptible due to medical and behavior issues.
100% Volunteer Rescue. We have no animal control, Humane Society, or SPCA operating in our area leaving animals in dire straights.
BMAR is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty & abuse to all animals & livestock.
We currently only adopt to states and Canada where we have a network in place to monitor animals and help with problems.
BMAR backs it's dogs for life and will take back no matter how long and at any time if circumstance arise and you cannot keep your pet.
