My name is Lex!

Lex is a nice mixed breed dude who came to us from the city pound when his time was up and no one had claimed him. We are totally playing "guess the breeds" with him as he's really kind of a genetic mystery. There could be some kind of shepherd, maybe some boxer, Catahoula...heck, maybe even some border collie. He's 1-2 years old. He has been fully vetted and microchipped and his fee is $150.

Lex is a little bit shy at first but becomes a total lovebug within a few minutes. He definitely has a some puppy energy in him. He will need some basic training but seems very ready and willing to please. Lex will need a lot of exercise to keep him happy and well balanced. We're thinking he would do best as the only dog in the home, at least until he gets some good training under his belt. Smaller animals are most likely a no for him.

NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
