My name is Pascal!

Pascal has had a pretty lengthy history with us. He was originally adopted from us back in 2019 when he was 1-2 years old. He enjoyed life in that home until March, 2025, when he was returned to us due to separation anxiety that didn't mesh with his family's busy schedule. He was adopted again in April, 2025 and returned recently due to the same issue. He is now 8 years old and on the hunt for a new home. He is fully vetted and his fee is $125.

Pascal is a large guy and his breed mix is anyone's guess, but we're thinking greyhound and Plott hound, just to name a couple possible options. He's a handsome dude who, unfortunately, is quite overweight now at 104 pounds. He's looking for a nice place to land with someone who is home most of the time. He needs someone who is willing and able to work with him on a weight loss plan. He would love a securely fenced yard in which to romp. He is a very sensitive soul who bonds very closely to his people. At this time in his life, we do think he'd prefer to be the only pet in a home. He is the sweetest boy!!

NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
