My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Operation is a cute female kitten who was brought to the HSOV on May 9, 2025 along with her two sisters (Monopoly and Sorry) and their mother (Hasbro) after a Good Samaritan who found them on Front Street in Marietta Ohio. Operation and her sisters were estimated to have been 8-weeks old at that time. Hasbro had taken excellent care of her babies in spite of apparently being homeless.

This little dollbaby has a brown tabby short smooth coat with orange highlights in a Torbie pattern, a long 'bottlebrush' tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers.

Operation and her sister Sorry are nearly identical twins but when you look closely at the markings on their foreheads/heads, you will be able to distinguish them apart. Operation has a smaller/faint orange mark on her forehead while Sorry has a large orange dot on the top of her head.

Operation has a delightful, outgoing personality and is quite playful. She thoroughly enjoyed her photo session on May 22nd 2025 while she scampered around our 'studio' and engaged in kitten games with HSOV Volunteer Wendy Jo Irvin.

Operation was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on May 9, 2025. She weighed 1.8 lbs that day. Operation was given booster vaccines on May 27th and June 27th 2025.

Operation, Monopoly and Sorry have been separated from their mother since they are now fully weaned. The kittens are sharing a large cat tower where they romp/play to their heart's desire and then snuggle up for a group nap .. And their mother Hasbro is enjoying some leisurely quiet time to herself since she is officially an 'empty-nester'.

Operation will be spayed in the near future and will soon be looking for a fabulous home. Naturally we'd love for the kittens to be adopted in pairs (or triplets).

We're sure that the kittens will be adopted quickly, but please remember their sweet mother who gave them life and raised them to be happy, playful youngsters also deserves a loving home.

Update: Operation was spayed on July 7, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 3.36 lbs that day.

Operation was adopted on July 11, 2025.
