Don’t let this face fool you, I’m the perfect combo of beauty, brains, and bountiful energy.
Here are a few things you should know about me (other than the fact that I’m pawsitively awesome!):
🌞 I love being outdoors—going on walks, sunbathing on the patio, swimming in the pool, or carrying my favorite stuffy around the yard. For that reason, I’d really like a home with a backyard.
🗣 I’m basically a human. I’m very vocal when I have something to say (like “dinner time!” or “I’m awake!”). Some might say I’m a little attention-obsessed, but really I just love connecting with my people. If I could play with you all day I would—but I do understand someone has to work to afford my toys and treats. Just remind me when it’s work time vs. play time and I’ll let you be.
🐶 I lean on other pups for confidence. I really love my foster brother and all he’s taught me about being a dog, so I’d like another dog in the house with me. Slow introductions are totally welcome!
Here’s what I don’t want… cats or other small animals. Something about them really ruffles my feathers, and it’s best for everyone if they stay far, far away.
I love deeply and really enjoy being part of a family. I’m not sure little kids could keep up with me, but older kids and adults are great. I do need someone strong enough to hold me back when I want to go after a bunny or check out a scary plastic bag floating by.
Now, here’s my one big ask: patience. I’m still working on my reactivity to other animals and humans outside the house, and I’d really like someone willing to help me continue learning. But here’s the good news: I’m crate and leash trained, I listen well, make great eye contact, and I’m a quick learner. With patience, guidance, and continued practice, I know I’ll keep getting better!
I can’t wait to play with you. Thanks for taking the time to learn about me!
Love,
Fern 🌿
