My name is Ophelia!

After being couped up inside for the beginning part of her puppy life, Ophelia’s eyes are now wide open to life’s possibilities. She has figured out her love languages are: new scents, any type of food, and running through tall grass.

Ophelia is a smart girl, quick to pick up on cues and tricks. She is housebroken and already knows sit, shake, and lay down. She also sits and stays (on command) while waiting for her meal. Her recall abilities are progressing well. She sits patiently waiting for you to put her leash on her and is generally good on walks but her energy and curiosity can get the better of her when seeing new people or animals. When seeing new friends, she is nothing but friendly but can come on a little strong and pull towards them. She is working on curbing these behaviors. On runs, she generally stays focused and is a good running partner.

At home, she loves playing with toys and can keep herself entertained with them. Ophelia enjoys a good cuddle, but at this stage in her life would rather be out exploring than sleeping on her bed.

She is good in her kennel, as long as she has some toys for company.

Ophelia has tried to meet many cats, but only one has taken her up on the opportunity. The kitty was showered with kisses. Ophelia has been around a dog much larger than her and is not shy or timid towards him. She has been around and played with kids but can get a little over-excited and jump up on them.

Ophelia is up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and spayed. She’s ready for life’s next adventure. Will it be with you?
