Sage is a 2yr old female 59 lb blue terrier pit that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 7/14 as being abandoned. Sage is a beauty! She’s got a very gentle loving easy-going personality to match her looks. After she stretched her legs in the shelter yard she came back for petting and put her head on my lap. Tho she doesn`t know the sit command she does walk well on a leash and takes treats gently. She’s very well mannered. She was not interested in meeting other dogs, but we do ask if you have another dog to please ask the shelter for a dog test. She’s sweet, affectionate, attentive, and gentle and wants to have her own secured yard to play in, but come back inside to be close to her human companions.
