My name is Momma Smurf!

This sweet, adorable girl named Mama Smurf. She is a 2yr year old 40lb mostly mixed breed (terrier pitbull mix/patterdale terrier). She arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 11/7 as a stray. She is low to the ground and has a glossy black coat. She is timid at first but responds to praise and petting. She loves human attention. She backs up for treats as she wants to please. She takes treats gently. She didn`t show any interest in other dogs barking at her, but we ask if you have another dog in the home, please ask the shelter for a dog test. I called her from across the yard, and she came immediately. She gives an abundance of kisses. When she became comfortable with me, she became animated and playful. She’s friendly, joyous, and affectionate. She walks well on a leash. She did her business as soon as she got into the yard. She would make a wonderful family companion.
