Here's what the humans have to say about me:
RESCUE ONLY Meet Neve! She was found as a stray to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 11/7. She weighs 45 pounds and approx between 1-1 1/2 years of age. She is an American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Neve came in with the skin issues, but with care from the staff, meds and good food, she’s healing. If interested in tagging this precious girl, staff can fill you in on the particulars of her skin issues. I’m told she already looks better than when she first walked through the door. At first, she was a bit timid when I got her out of her kennel, but she warmed up pretty quickly. She still seems uneasy, and of course, who could blame her? She is calm and well-behaved, doesn’t jump on you and her tail wags! Neve walks well on a leash. She likes treats. When I had her outside in the yard she was very curious and scouted out all the interesting sights and smells. She’s a friendly girl and is fine with being petted. She’s hoping she will have a loving family that will give her all the love and care she would want.
