Meet Cabbage—a pitty boy with a blocky head, a wiggly butt, and a whole lot of love to give! This bubbly snuggle bug is basically a big softie wrapped in a meatball-shaped package. His adorable head tilts could win awards (if there were trophies for looking confused and cute at the same time). Cabbage knows his basic commands, walks like a gentleman on leash, and is always down for couch time. He’s ready to join his forever “patch” and promises to keep things equal parts goofy and sweet—no lettuce required!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
