Meet Matilda! 💕 This beautiful pittie girl is pure sunshine with a wiggly body and a heart full of love. Matilda’s tail never stops wagging, and her joy is absolutely contagious!

She adores playtime with her doggy friends and is always up for some fun, whether it’s a romp in the yard or a good old-fashioned game of chase. But when it’s time to relax, she’s just as happy to snuggle up and soak in the love.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
