This sweet boy may have started his journey in an overcrowded Alabama shelter, but thanks to K-9 Lifesavers, Henry now has the chance to find the forever family he’s been waiting for.Henry is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. He loves making new friends (dogs and people alike), and he’d be thrilled to have a canine buddy at home or regular playdates in the neighborhood. He’s also an excellent car companion — whether it’s a road trip or just a ride to the park, Henry is always up for the journey.At his young age, Henry is a quick learner who’s eager for training and thrives on attention. His curious, goofy nature will keep you laughing, and his affectionate side will keep you smiling.If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who’s equal parts fun and love, Henry’s your guy.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
