My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kaci is one of THE MOST gorgeous and unique-looking dogs we’ve ever seen! Photos just don’t do this fine lady justice.

Kaci is an adorable, sweet, GOOFY little pitty mix with one of the best personalities!

She’s crate trained, housebroken, has basic obedience and acts politely in public.

Due to an unfortunate dog attack, Kaci lost one of her eyes, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit - although she may bump into a few things now and then! Due to the incident, she would prefer to be your only pet.

Kaci is food motivated, loves to play tug, loves going on adventures and enjoys car rides! She can get a little scared when men raise their voice, but she’s trying very hard to get past it!

She is the QUEEN of the ZOOMIES and gets a hilarious scooby-doo run going that you just have to see! She doesn’t always watch where she’s headed with the zoomies, and she loves giving enthusiastic hugs, so we recommend older, respectful kids with her.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

If you see a pet you’re interested in or you don’t but you would like to adopt from our organization anyway, please fill out an application!

2.

Meet the Pet

We set up first meet and greets in a public location for you to get to know the dog(s) you’re interested in.

3.

Meet the Pet

We do require a second meet and greet, which also helps if you’re torn between multiples! We encourage you to meet at least 2 dogs!

4.

Home Check

If the home check is goes well and everyone is still confident, the contract is signed, fee paid and your new dog can stay that day!

More about this rescue

We are long-time animal lovers working hard to reduce the number of euthanized dogs in shelters. Our ultimate goal is to house and employ veterans, teach them how to prepare a dog for adoption and should they wish, reach them to run a successful rescue so they may take our model and open one anywhere there’s a need of Veterans and K9’s alike!
