Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Louie, Louie, Louieeeee! (Yes, we are singing it. And you will be too once you meet this boy.)
This handsome pupper is equal parts sweetheart and goofball. He’s always ready to hang out, hand out kisses, and hand over his heart to the right human. Louie is treat-motivated (read: snack enthusiast), which makes training a breeze—and he’s ready to keep learning with someone who believes in his potential to be the best boy ever.
Got a runner’s heart? So does Louie! He’s already taken jogs with our volunteers and kept pace like a pro—with surprisingly good etiquette and lots of enthusiasm. He’d make a stellar running buddy or trail partner.
Oh, and his surprise move? That tongue. It’s always silly, always adorable, and has earned him the title of “Tongue Out Tuesday (and Everyday) Champion.” Just look at his photos—you’ll see what we mean.
Whether you’re looking to adopt or foster, Louie is ready to bring love, laughter, and a whole lot of lolling tongue to your life.
Come meet Louie and fall in love—tongue out and all.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours.
In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.
Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on “Foster Questionnaire.”
Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours—giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We’ll see you soon at either location!
