My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Forrest came to ARC when his guardian could no longer care for him, and he has adjusted nicely to being back at ARC. Forrest is a calm, gentle-natured kitty that welcomes attention from all. He would be a wonderful fit for someone seeking a loving companion who has a quiet, gentle nature and enjoys attention and petting.

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this handsome kitty? If you are searching for a loyal friend who offers both companionship and tranquility, Forrest is the kitty for you!

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
