My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bonnie recently came to ARC because her guardian could no longer care for her. She is a gentle, easy-going kitty and has adjusted nicely to her new surroundings. She is good with staff and volunteers and welcomes petting from all—including strangers.

She also enjoys the company of the other kitties in her house and would not mind sharing her forever home with another cat or two.

Complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this gentle, good-natured kitty. See for yourself how bonnie totally deserves a home where she can feel secure and loved forever!

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
