I’ve got an adventurous spirit and a heart full of love, and I’m ready to start my next chapter with you!
I might’ve been living life on my own for a bit, but now I’m all about the good stuff: belly rubs, zoomies, and making new friends. I’ve got an enthusiastic attitude and a curious mind, so you can bet I’ll be the first one to explore every corner of my new home.

I’m still young and full of energy, so I’d love a family who can keep up with my bouncy personality.
I’m affectionate and love to cuddle once I’ve run off all my zoomie energy, so you get the best of both worlds—playtime and snuggle time.
I might’ve been on my own for a while, but I’m ready to settle down in a loving, active home where I can show off all my smarts and charm.

Foster Update: "Cici update 🐾
This sweet girl has completely stolen our hearts. Cici is doing wonderfully in our home and continuing to recover well from her surgery. She’s feeling better each day and becoming more confident on walks, taking everything at her own gentle pace.
Cici is truly a Velcro dog in the best way—she loves being close to her people and is happiest curled up on the couch for cuddles. She has such a soft, loving personality and brings a calm, comforting presence to the home. She’s been doing great with our cats and I’m confident she would make a wonderful companion for other dogs or for a family with little kids.
Having Cici around has been such a joy, and she has a special way of brightening your day just by being near you. She’s going to make an incredibly loving and loyal addition to a lucky forever home. 💛🐶"

Border Tails Rescue is a licensed no-kill animal rescue and welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of stray dogs across the world, with a unique focus on Mexico. Border Tails Rescue has a physical shelter facility with dogs on site for viewing everyday. Border Tails Rescue primarily works with rural shelters across the country, including but not limited to TX, AR, AL, LA, KY, IN, and MI on a regular basis as well as CACC, Chicago’s open intake shelter. BTR is Woman-founded by Harleigh Garcia, who was 20 years old at the time. The organization was founded in December of 2019 and Border Tails Rescue is registered with Illinois Secretary of State as a non profit organization. Border Tails Rescue operates entirely on donations and adoption fees.
