Tiger is a sweet, friendly orange boy looking for his forever home! He loves people and is always looking for pets and scratches. His only goal in life is to rub his face on everyone and everything. Tiger is obsessed with playing with hair ties and loves being brushed. If you're looking for a (not so) little shadow, Tiger is just the cat you're looking for!

Tiger tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents

Tiger interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. We recommend that he go to a home with adopters with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in limited pick-up and handling.

Animal Care Centers of NYC encourages everyone to come to one of our three full service Care Centers when looking to adopt a pet. Beautiful dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits are anxiously waiting a home to call their own.

All ACC adoptions include vaccinations, a microchip, spay/neuter, one month of free pet health insurance, and a free office visit at a participating veterinarian.

ACC rescues more than 20,000 animals each year. A non-profit organization, ACC is under contract with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to rescue, care for and find loving homes for homeless and abandoned animals. ACC is a full-service animal organization that takes in any animal in need in New York City.
