hi Jolene,

this sweetheart is an approx. 4 year old Shepherd. Sadly, when her owner got really sick and was hospitalized, the family made a difficult decision to surrender her and her sister to the local animal control shelter. Luckily, we were able to grab both of them and bring to the rescue. She is about 53 lbs.

Jolene's prior family reported that she is a certified good girl - and we can confirm! They said she has been good with cats, dogs and all people. While we do not have cats here to check, we do know she has been doing awesome with all volunteers. She has zero issues handling, is happy, friendly and very social. She loves catching treats mid-air, knows "sit", is slowly mastering "stay". She cannot wait to find a shepherd-loving home - she will truly be an incredible and loyal companion!

She would need to meet any resident dogs.

She will come spayed, vaccinated, 4dx tested and microchipped.

Our volunteer will work on approval which includes landlord / vet / personal references and a conversation with the applicant

After approval, we will set an appointment with the pet you chose or for open meets with pets that fit the criteria

Sign Adoption Contract

If you love the dog, you will sign the adoption paperwork, pay the adoption fee and the pup is yours!
