Meet Katie! Katie is a sweetheart who’s ready to find her forever family! She’s fun, silly, affectionate, and full of personality. Katie absolutely loves kids and is wonderful with other dogs — she takes cues from them and respects their boundaries. She’s currently fostered with both small dogs and a big dog and gets along great with everyone! As a playful puppy, Katie would do best with a dog-savvy cat if she joins a home with feline friends. She’s crate trained and about 99% potty trained (though a few accidents are to be expected as she adjusts to a new environment). Katie rides perfectly in the car when tethered, loves spending time outdoors, and can’t get enough of her toys. She’s also a world-class cuddler who loves to snuggle up after a fun day of play. This sweet girl would thrive in an active home that wants a loving companion for adventures, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. Once submitted, one of our volunteer Application Processors will conduct necessary background/landlord/vet and reference checks.
