Meet the Pet
This helps The Rescue Crew with pet care costs.
Meet Lilly!
Lily is a one-year-old, 32-pound sweetheart with a gentle soul and an irresistible mix of beauty and charm. Based on her appearance and demeanor, our best guess is that Lily is a Border Collie / Australian Shepherd mix—a combination known for intelligence, loyalty, and a strong bond with their people.
Lily is incredibly friendly and enjoys greeting the world with enthusiasm, but she also loves quiet moments and cozy snuggles with her humans. Like many herding-type dogs, she’s observant, sensitive, and eager to please. She’s still learning the ropes of home life and appropriate social manners, but she thrives with kind guidance, consistency, and positive reinforcement.
She approaches life with curiosity and heart, and she enjoys having a routine and clear expectations. Lily does well with other dogs and takes comfort in canine companionship. She has not yet been tested with cats or children; given her herding-mix traits, we believe she would do best with thoughtful introductions and a home that understands the importance of structure, calm energy, and time to settle in.
Lily is a bright, loving young dog who will shine with a patient, supportive family ready to help her continue learning and building confidence. In return, she’ll offer deep loyalty, affection, and a wonderful partnership.
Lily’s Ideal Home:
A calm, loving home that values routine and positive training, with people who enjoy an engaged, intelligent companion. Another friendly dog could be a bonus, but not required.
Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
