My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tango – The Feather Toy Queen 🐾

Personality & Quirks
Tango is a shy but charming little lady with striking, gorgeous markings. While she isn’t much of a treat fan, she absolutely comes alive for feather toys and interactive play. Tango is also a talker—she’ll happily chat with you in her own sweet voice—and she loves to spend time by the window, watching the world go by.

Backstory
Tango came into our rescue with her siblings—Wilson, Griffin, and Suede—ready for a fresh start. She’s been learning the comforts of home life in foster care and showing more of her curious, playful side every day.

Special Notes
Tango is litter box trained and has a calm, observant nature. She may take a little time to warm up, but her playful energy and gentle personality make her a joy to have around.

Why They Need You
Tango needs a patient adopter who will enjoy her quiet companionship and encourage her playful, talkative side. She’ll reward your kindness with her trust, sweet conversations, and delightful window-watching sessions.

Ideal Home for
Tango would do best in a home with another friendly, playful cat to help her feel secure and bring out her fun side. A calm environment with plenty of windows and interactive playtime will make her feel right at home.

IMPORTANT: An application must be completed and approved before we can arrange a meeting with any cat or kitten. At Feral Today Friend Tomorrow, we place animals in homes that are the best fit for their individual needs, adoptions are not first-come, first-served.

Because all our foster cats live in private homes, we require an approved application before scheduling any meet-and-greet. You can submit your application online here:

Special Note: If cats are bonded or adopted as a pair, the total adoption fee will be less than the combined individual fees, we believe keeping companions together should be encouraged and supported.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to socialize and prepare abandoned, relinquished, or un-housed cats and kittens for permanent homes via our foster network. We also work to reduce the overpopulation of feral cats in the Metro Detroit Area through TNR to help homeless cats live happier, healthier lives.

Feral Today Friend Tomorrow began with one cat who was lost, alone, and hungry 3 years ago. She promptly told all of her friends about us. Now we are working to help cats and kittens throughout Oakland and Wayne Counties. Feral Today Friend Tomorrow provides foster homes and adoption services for those in our care. Feral Today Friend Tomorrow prides itself on providing loving and compassionate care for all kinds of cats, from neonatal kittens, feral cats who want to transition to a new indoor lifestyle, spicy seniors and all those in-between.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on appropriate vaccinations, and chipped prior to being adopted to their forever homes.
