Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🧸 Meet Cindy Lou: A Professional Heart-Healer
If your idea of a perfect evening involves a warm blanket, a good movie, and a loyal friend resting near by, then Cindy Lou is the girl you’ve been waiting for.
🌸 Her Personality
Cindy Lou is a "velcro dog" in the best possible way, she doesn’t have a need to be underfoot, just within earshot of wherever you are. She doesn’t care much for chasing squirrels or being the loudest dog at the park; she much prefers observing the activity from a sunny spot. She has a soul-searching gaze and a gentle, quiet presence that can turn a bad day around in seconds. Her smile, yes she smiles and it’s contagious!!
✨ Why You’ll Fall in Love
The "Cindy Lou Roll": She will lay quietly until she catches your eye and then rolls on her back letting you know you are welcome to spend the rest of your evening rubbing her belly while she dozes off to sleep! 🩷
Quiet & Polished: Cindy Lou is well mannered and respectful of her environment, she is a dog who appreciates the finer things in life—like a plush bed, occasional treats and yes, any amount of tummy scratches she can fleece you out off 🤭
Work-from-Home MVP: Cindy Lou is the ultimate office assistant. She’ll happily snooze under your desk while you work, only "interrupting" for an occasional ear scratch.
🏠 The Dream Home
Cindy Lou is looking for a soft place to land. She would thrive in a home that feels like a sanctuary—a place where life is a little slower and the love is loud.
Household: Cindy Lou grew up in a house with other dogs and has no problem with cats. She is pro with a doggie door, or she can wait for an invitation to go outside to lay around in the sun. She is happiest “going with the flow”, a home with low to moderate activity level works just fine for her!
"I might not be the first dog to jump in your lap, but I promise to be the one who never wants to leave." — Cindy Lou
Cindy's adoption fee of $200 includes a microchip, vaccinations and spay surgery. If you would like to set up a Meet & Greet and be considered for adoption, please click on the button with the pet’s name to fill out an application. Someone will contact you within 24 hours.
If you have difficulty with the application, please email us at Rescue@AnthemPets.org.
NOTE: Only Arizona based adoption inquiries will be considered.
