This handsome hunk of love is Knightwing — a 3-year-old Boxer/Pit Bull mix who’s ready to find his forever family through PAWS Rescue, Inc.
Knightwing is a total people dog! He’s known for his signature move: hopping up on his hind legs to say hello with the biggest smile you’ve ever seen. He’s all about belly rubs, following you around to “help” with chores (especially if you’re sweeping), and curling up with his head in your lap when it’s time to relax.
He LOVES his chew toys, wrestling with his brothers, and zooming around a fenced yard. He’s house-trained, great on a leash, and always ready for an adventure. Treats? Yes please. Love and snuggles? Absolutely. This boy is full of joy, energy, and that goofy charm you just can’t resist!

Since our formation in early 2013, we have helped save thousands of cats and dogs throughout Idaho from neglect, abuse, and death. Many of our rescues come from the Burley Idaho Animal Shelter where PAWS has transformed what was once a high kill facility to a shelter where every adoptable animal gets a second chance! PAWS also takes in stray pets from all over Idaho including Twin Falls, Boise, Nampa, and Caldwell. We work our very hardest to respond to every call for help!
PAWS Rescue, Inc. saves all breeds of cats and dogs of all ages as well as animals who have been hit by cars, shot, abandoned, abused, and neglected.
Rescued animals are placed in loving foster homes or transferred to other no kill partner facilities giving them a chance to find the perfect forever home. Our efforts give these deserving animals a second chance at a happy life.
Every animal receives veterinary evaluation and care, including spay/neuter and vaccines, as well as treatment for any other medical issue they may have. No animal is ever euthanized due to expense.
