Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Howie! He is a 3yr old male Bull Terrier/Staffordshire mix that weighs 54lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter as he was abandoned on 8/18. This boy is such an adorable sweet loving pup! He enjoys being petted and loved on, I gave him hugs/kisses and he looked at me with happy eyes and a big smile. He walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, tho he wasn`t fond of any of mine. He does appear to be housetrained and has been well cared for too. We enjoyed going out for walks, and tho he did not show any reaction to other dogs we do ask if you have one in the home, to please ask the shelter for a dog test. He would follow me around and when I sat down he gently put his hands in my laps to be close to give kisses and receive hugs. He would make a wonderful companion to a loving family. Having a secured yard he can play in but come back inside to be close and cuddly is what this sweet boy deserves. Please come meet him and you will understand why he is a Volunteer Favorite!!
