This bright-eyed, bushy-tailed youngster is Thomas, a mixed breed brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 12/2 as a stray. He is 7mos old and neutered. Thomas weighs 35lbs. This mild mannered, sweet tempered boy is a charming little guy. He will put his paws on your shoulders to look in your eyes and let you know that he wants to be your friend. He is a frisky and perky boy, though not overly energetic. He is affectionate, friendly and will seek out attention from a human friend. He likes treats and will sometimes sit for them…and sometimes not. This cutesy youngster would undoubtedly make a devoted and loving companion. He would thrive living in the house with his people so that he can socialize and bond. In my mind’s eye, I can see him nestled on the couch with his new owner, enjoying the closeness and camaraderie.
