My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pet Location: Wayside Waifs Campus

My Friends at Wayside say:
- I am enrolled in Waifs with Wisdom. This is a program for dogs to learn basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session.
- I have been described as an easy going, couch potato.
- During my time at Wayside, I have enjoyed being around other dogs.
- My previous owner said that I am house-trained.
- I had experience living around cats in my previous home- I did occasionally like to chase them.
- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information.

My home needs are:
-Wayside recommends no apartments or shared living spaces for me. I like to use my voice when I am excited
-If you have kids in the home 9 years old and younger, I will need to meet them to make sure they enjoy my enthusiasm for life- occasionally I can get a little too excited.

Hi there, I’m Remy Roo! When asked what her favorite thing about me was, my previous owner simply said that I was the best animal she had ever owned; happy, cheerful, and so affectionate. That’s how much I was loved. I want that again. I want to live my life right by your side, your constant companion and loyal friend. I hope you want that too.

I’m an adorable, 3-year-old, 46-pound sweetheart, with gentle, soulful eyes, an expressive, precious face, and a lovely, friendly, easygoing personality. I’m already housebroken, too, although please stay patient as I get settled in. I’ve been through a lot of change lately, and it’s tough to keep up a routine here at the shelter. I first arrived at Wayside as a stray almost 2 years ago. I was adopted, and I’ve had a good life. While my mom loved me very much, things in her life changed, and she was no longer able to take care of me. I miss her. It has just been a confusing time, and the big shelter can be a stressful and lonely place for a family dog like me, that’s all. I hope that I don’t have to be here for long. I’m ready to go to my new home.

I was such a good boy in my previous home. Besides my parents, I successfully lived with kids, ages 6-18, and other dogs. I also lived with cats, who I sometimes chased. I haven’t needed to be crated at all lately, because I’m very well behaved in the house, but when I was, I felt anxious. In general, I wasn’t a fan of being left alone, because I wanted to spend all of my time with the f
