My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dolly is a 1-year-old Cur mix with a happy heart and a playful spirit. She came to us after her owner’s health issues made it too difficult to continue her care, but it’s clear she was deeply loved — her previous owner described her as “very sweet and happy, a very good dog.”

Dolly is an energetic, social girl who loves all kinds of toys and enjoys playing with other dogs. She has a fun “push and pull” play style and opens up more the longer she spends with her playmates. She’s interested in cats, though hasn’t lived with them long term, and she’s great with older kids (younger ones might find her energy a bit much!).

She’s crate trained, leash trained, and mostly house trained, though she’s still working on a few accidents. Dolly can be a little skittish with strangers and new places, but once she’s comfortable, her tail never stops wagging.

If you’re looking for a sweet, active, and affectionate young dog who’ll blossom with love and routine, Dolly is ready to bring joy to your home!
