Alex is a 10 year old male Russian tortoise, who has been with our rescue since August 13. Alex is shy at first but does come around once he is good and settled in; and he loves to be outside when it's warm out. He does eat a variety of assorted greens; but can still be stubborn with hay. He currently lives with another Russian tortoise (Sky) and they seem to get along well. He is in a foster home with kids and does well with them.
This animal requires an outdoor enclosure approximately measuring 4'x4' for the warmer months. For an indoor enclosure, we would love if you are able to provide an 8'x4' size enclosure. Proof of habitat will be requested at time of adoption inquiry.

We will reach out and ensure you have the proper set up for the animal so both you and the pet are set up for success.

Sign Adoption Contract
At the time you sign the contract, the adoption fee is due.

Take the Pet Home

All adopters submit an inquiry after finding a pet they are interested in. We will then go through any inquiries and ensure the animal will be going to a suitable home (photo proof of enclosure set up is required). From there, we will be in touch about setting up a time for potential adopters to meet the animal. Adopters will then sign an adoption contract, pay the adoption fee, and take the pet home.
