Schindler is a sweet, affectionate 2-year-old male who has perfected the "underfoot" strategy for maximum belly rubs—a true genius when it comes to attention! He is the definition of a gentle soul, and one of our current HW+ sweethearts working through his heartworm treatment. In addition, Schindler is dealing with a painful paw injury, and the slippery, hard surfaces of the shelter are making his recovery more difficult. He's struggling to get around and has even slipped a few times. This dear boy desperately needs a hero to provide him with a foster or forever home—a quiet, carpeted, warm place where he can truly rest and heal without rush. CARE STL welcomes adopters to either come by the shelter or fill out an adoption application online to save some time at the shelter. The purpose of this application is to gather information about your home, pets, and general lifestyle to help our Match-Makers determine if the pet you wish to adopt is a good fit for both you and the pet.
