My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Luda. I feel like the unluckiest boy ever. I have been adopted out 3 times and returned. the first time was because I was trying to play with my canine friend, and when I jumped on the couch, I accidentally scratched my human sister. The second time was because I was not a fan of the dog I went into the home with; he would not give me my personal space. The last time I was adopted for 2 years, my mom had to move and was not able to take me, and my dad was deploying. I hate the shelter, and it stresses me out so bad. I would love to find a home with no children or cats and maybe a calm, submissive dog to share the rest of my life with.

More about this shelter

The Lewis County Humane Society is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation which owns and operates a no-kill animal shelter on the Pine Grove Rd in Glenfield, NY. That shelter is contracted with the townships in Lewis County to house dogs brought in from the townships by the dog control officers. The shelter also houses homeless cats from the county.
