Truffles is 10 years old, full of energy, playful, smart, and alert. At just 10 ½ pounds, he’s the perfect size—fit, trim, and ideal for snuggles. He’s fully housebroken, crate trained, and would love nothing more than curling up on a cozy bed (or even better, next to you).
This sweet boy has peacefully lived alongside more than a dozen rescue dogs, plus goats, pigs, and even free-range chickens and roosters. His experience with cats is unknown, but he’s proven himself to be a gentle companion.
Truffles is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and recently had a full dental with extractions—his teeth are healthy, his breath is fresh, and he eats well with a little soft food mixed into his kibble. He rides wonderfully in the car and prefers sitting on your lap or nestled against your chest during the ride.
Best of all, Truffles is soft, beautiful, and has a unique heart-shaped marking on his right side—a feature that turns heads and makes people smile everywhere he goes. 💕

Since our formation in early 2013, we have helped save thousands of cats and dogs throughout Idaho from neglect, abuse, and death. Many of our rescues come from the Burley Idaho Animal Shelter where PAWS has transformed what was once a high kill facility to a shelter where every adoptable animal gets a second chance! PAWS also takes in stray pets from all over Idaho including Twin Falls, Boise, Nampa, and Caldwell. We work our very hardest to respond to every call for help!
PAWS Rescue, Inc. saves all breeds of cats and dogs of all ages as well as animals who have been hit by cars, shot, abandoned, abused, and neglected.
Rescued animals are placed in loving foster homes or transferred to other no kill partner facilities giving them a chance to find the perfect forever home. Our efforts give these deserving animals a second chance at a happy life.
Every animal receives veterinary evaluation and care, including spay/neuter and vaccines, as well as treatment for any other medical issue they may have. No animal is ever euthanized due to expense.
