My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you’re looking for a pup who’s equal parts playful and lovable, Appa might just be your perfect match! This friendly, high-energy boy is all about fun, fetch, and full-body tail wags. Appa lives for playtime - especially fetch! He’s still working on that whole “bringing the ball back” part, but he’s got the enthusiasm nailed down. With a little continued training and a lot of tennis balls, he’s sure to be a fetch pro in no time.

Because of his excitement and tendency to jump up when he`s happy, we recommend that any children in his future home be 10 or older. Appa may do well with other large dogs after a slow, structured introduction, but he’s still learning his doggy manners. If you have another big pup at home, a meet-and-greet at the shelter will be required to make sure it’s a good fit. He`s also not a fan of small animals, so he’ll need a home without cats, small dogs, or other little critters. Appa is looking for a family who can match his upbeat energy and help him continue to grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. If you’re ready for a goofy, affectionate, and fun-loving sidekick, Appa is ready to bounce into your life!
