Tank is a sweet, lovable guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. This handsome boy adores quality time with his people, whether that means relaxing by your side, soaking up plenty of pets and praise, or enjoying a favorite toy nearby. While Tank may be a little on the older side, he hasn’t lost his zest for life and still has plenty of energy to share! Tank would love an active home where he can explore the great outdoors, whether that’s spending time in the yard or heading out for neighborhood walks with his favorite human. After an adventure, he’s more than happy to settle in and enjoy some well-earned cuddles. Tank does have a few boundaries he appreciates being respected. He doesn’t always enjoy being grabbed or restrained, so any children in his new home are required to be age 10 or older so they can understand and honor his needs. He can also be selective with other dogs, so if you have a canine companion at home, a meet-and-greet at the shelter will be required to ensure Tank and his new friend are a good match. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’s ready to be your sidekick through both adventures and quiet moments, Tank might just be the perfect fit for you!
