Story: Cambria was rescued from a shelter in Alabama. We are so happy to have her safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Cambria is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Cambria is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Cambria will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive!
What my foster says: Cambria (Cami) is a sweet shy girl. She is learning to be more comfortable with people, but loves other dogs. She can play all day with her doggies friends and loves to wrestle or chew on a good bone. She is working on her crate training and goes into the crate well for treats. She is doing great with potty training and on the road to being a pro. She can be nervous about people touching her and does not like to be grabbed suddenly. It’ll just take time and patience for her to warm up to her people. She loves to snuggle with her doggie friends on the sofa, enjoys a good run outside and laying in the sun. Learning to walk on the leash and to come on command is next on the list. Cami really is just looking for the right family that has time to make her feel at home and part of the family.
The fee to adopt Cambria is $475. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, her spay, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
