Story: Eva was living in the woods with her two puppies Cambria and Avril before they were rescued. We are so happy to have them safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Eva is a shy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. While she’s still settling in now, soon enough she’ll know how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Eva is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Eva will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive!
What my foster says: Eva is a very sweet dog. She is a shy girl and takes some time to warm up to new people and dogs, but when she does she’s comfortable, calm and sweet. She is good with other dogs but is not yet interested in playing with them. She lives with a cat and is not interested in her. She is potty trained and crate trained. She has never has had an accident in the house. She walks well on leash but prefers to go potty and right back inside. She is a great greeter when you arrive home and does a little happy dance which always brings a smile to my face. If you looking for a sweet, low maintenance dog that just wants to hang with her people, this the dog for you.
The fee to adopt Eva is $475. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, her spay, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
