My name is Rafa!

Meet Rafa! He is a 2 yr old Male extremely handsome boy that weighs 82lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 9/10 as a stray. When I ran many pics through Dog Scanner app, it stated he may have a mix such as Cane Corso or American Staffordshire Terrier. No matter, he is a very handsome and happy boy!  He also is a silly guy that loves to play with stuffed toys, and if there is a dog bed close, he will roll around upside down. He enjoys being petted and loved on, and is very interested in treats. At times he can be a bit pushy in asking for them, including jumping a bit, but with continued redirection and advising him to sit he does well. At times he will walk a bit strongly on a leash, but with some additional training, it`s clear he would learn. Walking past other dogs barking at him, he didn’t show any interest. However, It is important if there is another dog in the home, large or small, to please ask the shelter for a dog test. Rafa is a big boy and needs plenty of room to stretch his legs. Having a secured yard to play in, then live indoors, having his own comfy dog bed and several stuffed toys to play with would make him such a happy guy. Can you offer him the loving home he deserves?
