Say hello to Bert, an estimated 7-month-old hound mix weighing 35.7 lbs! Bert is your classic happy-go-lucky pup—playful, sweet, and ready to wiggle his way into your heart. He’s currently at the shelter with his brother, Ernie, and the two get along wonderfully.
Bert recently met a 1-year-old and thought kissing her was just the best thing ever! He’s full of puppy charm, but with his bouncy energy, he could accidentally topple the tiniest tots. Like all young pups, Bert will need the basics—training, structure, and patience—but he’s eager to learn and soak up all the love he can.
His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
