Meet Moe – A Gentle Soul Ready for His Forever Home
Moe is a 12-year-old Poodle/Chihuahua mix who came into rescue with his brother Larry after their owner’s health took a turn. While they don’t need to be adopted together, Moe would love to find a family who appreciates his calm, loving nature.
This sweet boy is friendly with everyone he meets and gets along beautifully with other animals. He isn’t needy—just a loyal companion who will happily be by your side. Moe’s gentle spirit makes him the kind of dog that simply warms your heart.
Moe did have all his teeth removed, but don’t worry—he eats just fine and enjoys mealtime! He is also currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which is fully covered by Camp Companion. Moe can go home during his treatment as long as his forever family can take him to his scheduled appointments.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
