Meet our Roxie (FKA Rosita—one of our adorable muppet babies)! This sweet, sassy, and spunky girl is now 4.5 months old, weighs about 45 lbs, and is ready to bounce her way into your heart. A German Shepherd/Border Collie mix with a big personality and an even bigger cuddle quota, Roxie is the perfect mix of playtime energy and snuggle-time charm.
Roxie was recently returned after being a bit too much fun for the older dog in her previous home, but don’t let that fool you. She’s a total sweetheart who loves other dogs, does wonderfully with kids, and has even spent time in our cat room (she gets excited around the kitties, so a cat-savvy home would be best!).
Roxie tries to keep her kennel tidy, but changes in routine tend to unsettle her, so she will need some time to decompress and adjust to a new home. With patience and consistency, she will learn her new household’s routine and settle in beautifully.
