Candy Corn is a Shepherd mix puppy who was born around July 5, 2025, and currently weighs 23 pounds. Just like her festive name, she’s bright, cheerful, and sweet. Candy Corn is growing up in a foster home with kids, including a one-year-old, and she is doing wonderfully with them. She loves snuggling up with the kids, playing with big and small dogs, and being part of the family’s daily routine.
This smart little girl learns very fast and already knows how to sit and lay down. She’s mastering potty training and continues to improve every day, though she’ll still need some patience and guidance as she adjusts to a new home. Candy Corn is very adaptable and would thrive in almost any environment — whether that’s with an active family, a single adopter, or a calm home with older pets. She loves everyone she meets.
Candy Corn’s affectionate side shines through the moment you meet her. She loves to snuggle and will lay her head on your shoulder for hugs. She likes to sit between your feet any chance she gets, happy just to be close. She adores romping around with her sister, Apple Cider, but she’s equally content to curl up for a cozy nap when playtime is over. She does well when crated with her sister but might be a little whiney if crated alone — a normal stage for a young puppy still growing into her confidence.
Candy Corn is blossoming into a wonderful dog who will bring endless joy and love to her forever family. Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
