At just 11 months old and already around 60 pounds (with a little more growing to do), Buckley may be an Anatolian Shepherd mix, and he’s every bit as fun and lively as a young pup should be. He’s bursting with energy and always ready to join in on whatever adventure you have planned.
Buckley is a social butterfly who adores people and thrives on attention and affection. While toys don’t impress him much, treats certainly do — and his treat motivation makes him eager to learn and build a bond with his future family.

Established in 1999, The Shelter Connection is a 501c3 volunteer organization at the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter. Our mission, in partnership with the Town, is to improve the quality of life for the dogs at the shelter and increase adoptions through training and socialization.
