Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hamsterdam!
Hamsterdam is a classic hound boy through and through—sweet, silly, social, and proud of his voice! This lovable guy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and brings an easygoing, friendly vibe wherever he goes.
Hamsterdam is equal parts playful pup, independent explorer, and loyal companion who likes to check in with his humans. With his low to medium energy, he’s just as happy sniffing around the yard or lounging in the sun as he is joining in on a game or trotting alongside other dogs.
And yes… he howls. Loudly. Joyfully. Proudly. It’s part of his charm! Because of his vocal nature, Hamsterdam would thrive best in a home without close neighbors and with a big backyard where he can stretch his legs, explore, and express his hound spirit to his heart’s content.
If you’re looking for a fun, quirky, dog-friendly companion who brings a smile to your face (and a little song to your home), Hamsterdam is your guy.
This howl-happy hound is ready to make your life brighter, funnier, and full of love. 🐾🎶

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
