My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey – A Gentle, Devoted Shepherd Looking for Her New Family ??

Meet Honey — a six-year-old German Shepherd whose name perfectly matches her temperament. She was surrendered through no fault of her own when her previous owners’ health made it too difficult for them to continue caring for her. They shared many wonderful things about her, and she has quickly shown us how special she is. Honey is a devoted, “velcro” companion who loves staying close to her people. She’ll follow you around, happy to be part of whatever you’re doing, and she adores gentle petting and attention. She’s also very treat motivated and incredibly gentle when taking treats, though she can be a little picky — once you find her favorites, she lights right up.

Her former owners reported that she loves car rides, walks nicely on leash, and has had some training already. She didn’t try to escape their 5-foot chain-link fence and was friendly with both adults and children. Honey is a calm, affectionate, and trustworthy dog who simply wants a loving home to call her own. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady companion who will stay by your side with quiet devotion, Honey would love to meet you.
