My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Betty loves people more than anything. She is happy and excited with every person she has ever met.. She is a dog now in foster in SC and is living with multiple dogs but proper and slow introductions were required. Once they are her friend, she loves them and enjoys play time, even at her age. She is not cat tested nor has she lived with small children. She would likely do best in a home without chaos and with her person's attention and love. She loves car rides and just being with you!

Until rescue and foster, her 8-10 year life has not been good. She was picked up by animal control and they said the chain on her was so heavy it rubbed her neck raw. She was chained to an enclosed trailer where the only shelter she had was to crawl under the trailer when it stormed or was cold. It was obvious she was over bred. She was so excited to see people when they arrived to seize her from the horrible living conditions. Imagine that!

Her foster mom said I hope she finds a person who wants a dog to just be their everything. To watch TV with, to play ball with, to sleep with, to ride with. She sees my keys and she's at the front door. She deserves a person to love her. You will be glad for being part of the good that she will have known in her life and don't be surprised when you find she is responsible for rescuing you to!

ASK US ABOUT OUR SPECIAL SENIOR DOG PROGRAM....We only want them to have a happy home with their family and adoption is set up for this and for rescue of other seniors.

More about this rescue

Our rescue focus is on adult dogs from the southeast that are in high kill shelters OR ABANDONED. Our plan is to fully vet, evaluate, and train as needed in preparation for adoption. When we save a life from the shelter, he is taken straight to the vet for a health checkup and while he is there The DOG will be neutered or spayed, receive shots and given a microchip. The rescues will then go to foster care in a home setting to prepare them for a home of their own. This helps to determine the best match for each rescue. Our goal is to make sure lives we save never end up homeless and scared again.
