There are times in rescue where you come across a bonded part and, although it hard enough finding an adopter for one, the couple is just perfect together! YOU CANNOT TEAR THEM APART and so you're determined to work harder at finding that family that belongs to them! Being the parent of multiple dogs I can attest to the beauty of bonded dogs. They are special and you go through life with them appreciate their love for each other and the chemistry....and best of all, the share that with you! It's a joy and a privilege witnessing such a bond. When we learned about this father and son duo and followed their story and their daiy interactions it was obvious to us this pair MUST stay together. Trust me, the family that opens their heart and home to Luckee and Eli will never regret it.
Take the time to check them out on their Facebook page and I know you will "feel that bond and the love right through your screen. Their Facebook page is "Luchee and Ei's journey to a Forever Home.

Dad (Luchee) is 7 years old and 80bs. Son (Eli) is 4 years old and 65lbs. They are currently in foster care in Alabama and will be transported to their approved adopter. Fully vetted, updated on all vaccines, neutered and on preventatives they are medically ready to be adopted.
Their owners health failed and since then (two years ago) they have been in limbo. They have not understood just what happened but they are still happy, sweet pups! They are dog friendly, good with kids, crate trained (although they don't need it), potty trained, moderate energy, easy maintenance, fun and playful outside and couch potatoes inside. ALWAYS SMILING. Although not done in fostering these dogs could be off leash as they have excellent recall.
WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE TWO and are praying for their "happy ever after"

Our rescue focus is on adult dogs from the southeast that are in high kill shelters OR ABANDONED. Our plan is to fully vet, evaluate, and train as needed in preparation for adoption. When we save a life from the shelter, he is taken straight to the vet for a health checkup and while he is there The DOG will be neutered or spayed, receive shots and given a microchip. The rescues will then go to foster care in a home setting to prepare them for a home of their own. This helps to determine the best match for each rescue. Our goal is to make sure lives we save never end up homeless and scared again.
