My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We know this happens often. We see it on social media all the time. Dog dropped off from car and then car takes off. Dog chases car! HOW HEARTBREAKING! Even knowing this is how some people get rid of their dogs, it hurts to be witness to such cruelty. So when I was sent the ring video that the person who picked Luci up shared, there was no saying we could not take her She deserves someone to care! First the person who witnessed her dump, got her and then networked for a rescue, and then our rescue and our foster mom Lynda. Luci doesn't know it yet, but she's lucky she did not catch that truck when they dumped her and she chased them. Her life will be so much better now- we will make sure of that.

It's incredible that she is still a happy loving dog in spite of this happening to her. She went right to the person who got her, and has been so sweet to everyone from our vets office to our transporter to our foster mom.

She is spayed, fully vetted, microchipped and on preventatives. At our fosters home she had other dogs to play with and cats as resident fosters and did well with them. Luci will be a great addition to any family! She still a puppy and will be ready for training!

More about this rescue

Our rescue focus is on adult dogs from the southeast that are in high kill shelters OR ABANDONED. Our plan is to fully vet, evaluate, and train as needed in preparation for adoption. When we save a life from the shelter, he is taken straight to the vet for a health checkup and while he is there The DOG will be neutered or spayed, receive shots and given a microchip. The rescues will then go to foster care in a home setting to prepare them for a home of their own. This helps to determine the best match for each rescue. Our goal is to make sure lives we save never end up homeless and scared again.
