Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a handsome fawn brindle 46lb 2-4yr old Pit mix. I was left at Lake Eufaula along with my sister or possibly my mom, Josie (who is also in the iRehome program). We were found by our foster mother and immediately taken to her vet and were spayed/neutered, given all shots, tested and treated for heartworm and given flea and tick prevention. I have a healed over broken front right elbow. The doctor says nothing can be done and I will always have a limp but I get around without any limitations.
My foster mom and I would really like for the two of us to stay together. We play tug-a-war, sleep, run and wrestle together.
We are both very sweet and loving. We like scratches and having our bellies rubbed. We love it when we can lay next to our person. I could be loved on all day! We like to be outside but appreciate that our foster mom lets us come in the house anytime we want to cool off and rest. She has a doggie gate so we can’t run through the entire house. We both use the doggie doors to go outside to potty.
Our foster mom is 71yrs old and has two dogs and a cat that we get along with and like to play with the younger dog. Our foster mom loves us both so much and it hurts her to rehome us but she believes someone else can give us more attention and take us on long walks. Her two dogs and cat are quite a bit for her to take care of or she would keep us. She wants us to find a home that will love us as much as she does and that has more time to give us exercise that we need.
We really want to stay together but if my foster mom finds the right home for one of us, she will keep the other until she finds a perfect home.
Goofy Charlie and Josie are participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.
