My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Elk River, MN

Toasty (we call her Bella) is a super sweet, loving girl who blends gentleness with loyalty. She is potty trained, well-behaved, and though she hasn’t had experience with a kennel, does well in enclosed areas. Though she is soft-hearted and affectionate, Toasty also has a natural instinct to look out for her family (recent momma to one pup – Crumbs), making her both a loving companion and a steady protector. She does occasionally demonstrate an “on guard” demeanor but is easily calmed and redirected with verbal reassurance. She loves car rides but does not particularly like seeing them on walks - needing a bit of work desensitizing to passing cars – she has an urge to lunge and chase. However, she is totally fine seeing cars pass by while in the yard and does not chase or bark when they go by! Toasty adores cuddles, playing with dogs and humans, and quiet moments with her favorite people. She’s patient with kids, polite with visitors, and devoted to the ones she calls her own. Toasty is truly the definition of a “good girl.” She is so special and ready to give her heart to a forever home.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
