Nala is a beautiful girl who loves her people deeply. She's gentle and affectionate and makes a wonderful companion in the home. She's house trained and, if she has a backyard to relax in, loves to spend hours sunning herself on the porch. When the zoomies strike, Nala plays tug and rolls around on her back like a puppy. She has lived with kids before but is shy at times, so any children would need to be dog savvy and able to give her space if needed. Nala does tend to be more fearful of men, she may bark initially but grows more comfortable with time. She has lived with another dog in the past and did well.

You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
